What score do I need to pass NAATI CCL?

To achieve a pass, you need a minimum of 29 out of 45 marks in each of the two dialogues assessed during the test. Earning a qualifying score in both dialogues means you obtain the 5 PR points. How is the NAATI CCL test conducted?

The NAATI CCL test is conducted via audio. You listen to a dialogue segment spoken alternately in English and Malayalam, then record your interpretation into the other language. There are two dialogue sets, each approximately 300 words, and the session runs around 20–25 minutes. VIBGYOR's mock tests replicate this exact format, timing, and recording environment — so you are fully familiar before test day.

Do I need to be fluent in Malayalam to take the NAATI CCL test?

How soon after passing will my NAATI PR points be reflected?

After passing the NAATI CCL test, your official certificate is typically issued within 6–8 weeks by NAATI. Once received, you update your Expression of Interest (EOI) in SkillSelect to reflect the 5 additional points. We strongly recommend updating your EOI immediately after certificate receipt to maximise your chances of receiving an invitation at the next round.
